The Nest Baffle, designed by Boston-based designer Kelly Harris Smith for FilzFelt, is a series of hanging acoustic baffles that includes two rounded and one linear baffle. The Half Round, Quarter Round, and Linear solutions, available at custom heights, allow users to create unique layouts that bring depth and dimension to any space and cut down on unwanted noise. They can span large, open areas, hover strategically above furniture to encourage collaboration, or be positioned to create defined zones.
Choose from one of 12 standard configurations or build a custom layout. The baffles are made from 100% wool design felt (which is 100% biodegradable and compostable) and Akustika 10 substrate, which contains 60% post-consumer recycled content and is 100% recyclable. The baffles feature a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.70 and are Living Building Challenge compliant.
